Block Real Estate Services, LLC (BRES) is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to support evaluation and execution of commercial real estate investments, developments, financings, and asset-level strategies. The role blends financial modeling, market research, budgeting, due diligence, and investment analysis for acquisitions, development, refinancing, and portfolio work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting, economics, business, or related discipline.
Strong quantitative ability and understanding of financial statements and cash-flow analysis.
Experience with underwriting, market research, and due diligence in real estate investments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Excel-based underwriting models, pro forma cash flows, and financial analyses.
Analyze rent rolls, leases, operating statements, budgets, and market assumptions to identify value drivers and risks.
Prepare development cost sheets and project budgets, assist with construction draws and reporting.
Calculate and evaluate property values, investment returns, and credit metrics (cap rate, IRR, equity multiples, DSCR).
Assist with financing and refinancing by evaluating loan structures and terms for lenders.
