Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney for a hybrid role spanning Baltimore, Denver, Las Vegas, Mount Laurel, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington, DC, Minneapolis, New York. This AmLaw 100 firm handles diverse real estate finance matters with national reach and direct client interaction.

You will work with partners on sophisticated debt and equity structures, construction financings, and distressed transactions, with opportunities for business development

Qualifications

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
  • 2–5 years of substantive experience in real estate finance transactions.
  • Extensive experience with a wide range of debt, debt-like, and equity transactions secured by or invested in real estate projects.
  • Particular experience with construction financing and multi-tiered capital transactions.
  • Experience representing lenders, capital providers, borrowers, or a combination thereof.
  • Excellent attention to detail, sound business judgment, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to superior client service with interest in direct client contact and BD opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Represent lenders, capital providers, and borrowers in complex real estate finance transactions.
  • Structure, negotiate, and document construction loans, mortgage financings, preferred equity investments, and other real estate-related financing arrangements.
  • Advise clients on sophisticated debt, debt-like, and equity investment structures involving commercial real estate assets.
  • Handle multi-tiered capital transactions and structured real estate finance matters.
  • Assist with distressed commercial real estate transactions and related financing matters; collaborate with partners and clients throughout all phases.
  • Maintain significant client contact while managing multiple matters in a fast-paced practice environment.
