Authority develops industry intelligence, forecasts and expert-led content to help organizations make better strategic decisions. We are seeking a Real Estate Finance Advisor active in the United States market for a flexible, paid consulting engagement of up to 2 hours per month.

The role is remote within the United States and carried out as an independent consulting contract with flexible assignments, primarily short commentary and occasional calls.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Currently operating in the United States market with up-to-date local market intelligence.
• Firsthand exposure to important financial, commercial or investment decisions.
• Ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
• A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant experience.

Authority is building an industry intelligence platform that combines expert insight with data to improve online news coverage and forecasts about business, financial and economic outcomes.

We are looking for a Real Estate Finance Advisor who is currently active in the United States market and has up-to-date market intelligence. This is a flexible, paid consulting engagement of up to 2 hours per month.

What you will do

• Provide concise written or recorded commentary on current developments, market shifts and likely business outcomes.
• Review articles, reports and forecast assumptions for accuracy, especially in real estate lending, underwriting, debt and equity structures, valuations, refinancing, development finance and capital markets.
• Explain the practical implications for companies, investors and decision-makers.
• Contribute insight that may be featured in Authority content and major industry news outlets.
• When relevant, consider separate market advisory opportunities with organizations in our client base.
