Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Business preferred.
  • 2+ years of CAM analysis, property accounting, or lease administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lease terms and expense recoveries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).
  • MRI or similar property management software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

A privately held real estate investment and operating company is seeking a CAM Analyst to join its collaborative Irvine team. The firm owns and manages a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across multiple Western states and is known for creating high-quality, community-driven environments that bring together retail, dining, and service‑oriented tenants. The company culture is casual, stable, and team-oriented, with about 25–30 employees in the local office.

Position Summary

The CAM Analyst will handle all aspects of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and operating expense reconciliations for a portfolio of multi‑tenant commercial properties. This is a hands‑on analytical role working closely with accounting, finance, and property management teams to ensure tenants are billed accurately and in accordance with lease terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review annual CAM, insurance, and real estate tax reconciliations.
  • Audit reconciliations for lease compliance, accuracy, and consistency with prior years.
