Job summary

Axiom is seeking an experienced attorney to support a technology client, split between real estate transactional matters and procurement for real estate projects. The role involves negotiating and drafting leases, sale/purchase agreements, and supplier contracts, with cross-functional collaboration across internal teams.

The candidate will advise on land use, permits, and various real estate‑related issues, including construction and services agreements.

Join Our Team as a Real Estate & Procurement Counsel at Axiom

We are seeking an experienced attorney to support a leading technology client with a practice evenly split between real estate transactional matters (50%) and procurement matters related to real estate (50%). This role involves negotiating and drafting real estate agreements, drafting procurement agreements for real estate projects, and advising on a broad range of real estate and supplier contract matters.

Location

Remote or Hybrid (3 Days On-site)

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft office and retail leases and purchase and sale agreements in the United States and beyond.
• Work with outside counsel and internal retail, facilities, finance, corporate, energy, mergers & acquisitions, hardware, litigation, and tax departments in connection with real estate‑related transactions and issues.
• Advise on land use, governmental approvals and permits, litigation related to facilities, real estate aspects of mergers & acquisitions, and a variety of other real estate‑related matters.
• Draft construction, architect, professional services, and goods & services supply agreements, and Statements of Work for a variety of real estate projects and services.
• Counsel on and address issues that arise under supplier contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience.
• Active membership in the California Bar.
• Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

• Ability to drive transactions.
• Ability to focus and cut through complexity to distill the most important issues.

Compensation

The estimated total compensation for full‑time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non‑attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs. Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
