SMB Team in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in transactional commercial real estate law. You will work on PSAs, title review, and complex financing matters, collaborating with a respected team to grow your practice in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of real estate experience, a Florida Bar license in good standing, and strong drafting, negotiation, and contract-to-close skills for commercial transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of recent experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Ability to draft Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs) on commercial real property.
• Strong negotiation skills for leases and transactions.
• Familiar with bank documents and lending processes.
• Superior drafting and contract-writing abilities.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Draft PSAs and other real estate contracts.
• Manage real estate transactions from acquisition to close.
• Resolve title, survey, and title exception issues for planned developments.
• Negotiate leases and loan documents; review bank documents.
• Support cross-functional teams with contract-to-close processes.
• Maintain high academic and writing standards; meet deadlines.

Background - Real Estate Attorney

• Experience drafting Purchase and Sales Agreements (PSAs)
• Handling real estate transactions, including acquisition, development and construction for commercial real estate
• Analysis and resolution of title, survey, and title exception issues for planned development activities
• Comprehensive contract drafting and negotiation with the ability to handle commercial transactions contract-to-close, buyer and seller side, including acquisitions, dispositions, property sales, loan document review, bank document review, landlord-tenant law, and commercial leasing
• Excellent academic credentials and proven writing abilities
• Deadline-driven

Requirements
