Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in New York State.
• 2+ years of experience with residential and/or commercial real estate transactions (preferred).
• Experience reviewing title reports, surveys, contracts, and attending closings (preferred).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, transfer documents, and related real estate contracts.
• Review title commitments, surveys, and due diligence materials; resolve title issues.
• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.
• Attend closings and provide practical legal guidance to clients.
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, real estate professionals, title companies, opposing counsel, and staff.
• Prepare and review legal documents with high attention to detail.
• Prioritize multiple matters while maintaining excellent client service.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
