Job summary

Preferred Materials, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver in our Transportation division to deliver concrete to job sites with safety and accuracy. You will operate a ready-mix truck, complete inspections, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates hold a Class A or B CDL with a valid DOT medical card, have 2+ years of commercial driving experience, and are committed to safety. This role offers home daily schedules and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with current DOT medical card.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ready-mix experience a plus.
• Strong communication and comprehension skills.
• Ability to operate automatic and occasional manual transmission trucks.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently to various job sites.
• Complete all required inspections and documentation.
• Deliver concrete accurately while maintaining product integrity.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain a clean truck and work environment.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, entering/exiting cab, and working outdoors.
• Support operations as needed, including occasional travel to nearby facilities.
