Job summary

Preferred Materials, Inc. in Lakeland, FL, is seeking a Ready Mix Driver (Transportation) to operate a ready-mix truck, load and deliver concrete, and ensure safety and product integrity on each run.

This role requires reliable movement between job sites with adherence to DOT/OSHA policies and a willingness to travel to nearby facilities as needed. Benefits include competitive pay, home daily, production bonus, profit sharing, and comprehensive insurance options along with 401(k) and tuition

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with current DOT medical card.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ready-mix experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently to various job sites.
• Complete all required inspections and documentation.
• Deliver concrete accurately while maintaining product integrity.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain a clean truck and work environment.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, entering/exiting cab, and working outdoors.
• Support operations as needed, including occasional travel to nearby facilities.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
