Responsibilities

• Safelyoperatetruckin accordance withall applicable Federal, state, and company regulations.
• Efficiently load and deliver perishableproducttocustomerstriving to provide quality and good customer service.
• Follow procedures to ensuretruckis safe tooperate. When not performing driving, dutiesassistwith plant maintenance,cleanupand other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance asrequired.
• Operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump and drive to job site. Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
• Complete all forms, tickets andrequiredpaperworkin a timely manner.
• Keep inside and outside oftruckclean.
• Communicate with dispatch,maintenanceand plant management tofacilitatethe flow of informationrequiredto provide good customer service.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for driving.
• Ability tooperateequipment, tools, controls, radio, perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet, frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling,crouchingand sitting.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid ClassA or BCDL andtheability tomaintaina clean driving record.

• Safety conscious for self and others.
• Ability to pass pre-employment process, including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
• Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work outdoors with exposure to high and low temperatures and other outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling,crouchingand sitting
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., multiple times a day
• Operate equipment, tools, and controls, performing repetitive movements with hands,wristsand feet
