Job summary

Titan America in Broward County, FL is seeking a professional CDL truck driver to safely operate delivery routes for perishable concrete products.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, load and deliver orders, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely customer service. This full-time role requires at least one year of CDL driving, safety focus, and flexibility to work nights or weekends. Titan offers health, dental and vision, 401(k) and paid vacations.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class A or B CDL and maintain a clean driving record.
• Minimum one year of driving experience with the CDL License.
• Safety conscious with professional attitude.
• Pass pre-employment checks including background, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Efficiently load and deliver perishable product to customers and provide quality service.
• Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance as needed.
• Operate truck to receive load, drive to job site and maintain cleanliness of truck.
• Complete forms and paperwork timely and communicate with dispatch.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate truck in accordance with all applicable Federal, state, and company regulations.
• Efficiently load and deliver perishable product to customer striving to provide quality and good customer service.
• Follow procedures to ensure truck is safe to operate. When not performing driving, duties assist with plant maintenance, cleanup and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required.
• Operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump and drive to job site. Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
• Complete all forms, tickets and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Keep inside and outside of truck clean.
• Communicate with dispatch, maintenance and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for driving.
• Ability to operate equipment, tools, controls, radio, perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet, frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling, crouching and sitting.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Possess a valid Class A or B CDL and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to internal/external customers and team members.
• Safety conscious for self and others.
• Ability to pass pre-employment process, including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
• Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus
• Minimum one year of driving experience with the CDL License.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work outdoors with exposure to high and low temperatures and other outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling, crouching and sitting
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., multiple times a day
• Operate equipment, tools, and controls, performing repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet
