Job summary

Preferred Materials - Concrete Division, a CRH company, is seeking a safety‑driven Ready‑Mix Driver in Melbourne, FL to deliver concrete to diverse job sites across our region.

You will operate ready‑mix trucks, perform required inspections and documentation, and coordinate with dispatch. Excellence in safety, communication, and reliability is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with current DOT medical card.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ready‑mix experience a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to operate automatic and occasional manual transmission trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a ready‑mix truck safely to various job sites.
• Complete inspections and documentation.
• Deliver concrete accurately while maintaining product integrity.
• Communicate with dispatch and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain a clean truck and work environment.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Perform physical tasks outdoors and occasional travel to nearby facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a ready‑mix truck safely and efficiently to various job sites.
• Complete all required inspections and documentation.
• Deliver concrete accurately while maintaining product integrity.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain a clean truck and work environment.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, entering/exiting cab, and working outdoors.
• Support operations as needed, including occasional travel to nearby facilities.

Requirements

• Strong communication and comprehension skills.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Must pass all pre‑employment screenings.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to operate automatic and occasional manual transmission trucks.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
