Job summary

A leading construction materials company is seeking a Ready Mix Concrete Driver in Apache Junction, Arizona. The role requires a valid CDL and experience in commercial vehicle operation. You will deliver concrete, maintain vehicle safety, and ensure excellent customer service. This position offers a competitive benefits package and the potential for long hours during the week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year vehicle road experience operating multi-speed transmission.
• Valid medical card required.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to the customer in a timely manner.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe fashion.
• Work with customer to achieve maximum customer service.
• Assist customers to ensure maximum service quality.
• Coordinate with dispatch to identify quickest, safest routes.
• Assemble concrete chutes and operate chute controls during pours.
• Comply with safety policies, complete inspections and report hazards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to the customer in a timely manner
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe fashion
• Visually inspect mix, slump and verify load sized
• Work with customer to achieve maximum customer service
• Work closely with dispatch to ensure quickest and safest routes to jobs
• Assemble concrete chutes and operate chute controls during the pour
• Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations including but not limited to: wearing property safety gear and attending safety meetings, perform pre-trip inspections, complete vehicle inspection reports, and report unsafe conditions and accidents

Position Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B IN GOOD STANDING
• Minimum of one-year vehicle road experience operating multi-speed transmission of a Commercial vehicle
• Valid medical card
• Concrete & mechanical knowledge and experience
• Work Availability - Be available to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday)
• Solid attendance and punctuality history
• Proficient reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to climb ladders, lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 60 lbs.

• Potential to work 50-55 plus hours per week. Available to drive 10-12 hours per shift within DOT regulations.

• Possibility of working Saturdays
• COOL Evening start hours, home by afternoon beating afternoon traffic.
