Job summary

Ampact is seeking dedicated Reading Tutors to join Reading Corps and help students improve their reading skills in Lithonia, Georgia. You’ll receive training and support to lead tutoring sessions in local schools, assisting students in their language development.

This is a impactful position where you will help enhance the students' confidence and abilities through structured tutoring sessions. Full-time positions offer 35 hours per week during school hours, while part-time roles of 25 hours are also available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be a citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and track student progress.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter data in software.

Skills

Dependable and a history of good attendance

Ability to follow instructions

Proficient in basic computer skills

Fluent in English

Education
