Ampact is seeking Reading Corps Reading Tutors in Minnesota to help students improve reading skills in a school setting. You will lead daily tutoring sessions, track progress, and collaborate with an on-site coach. Training and coaching are provided to support your growth.
Positions run for the 2026-27 school year with a 35-hour work week, daytime hours, and no weekends. Part-time options (25 hrs/week) may be available. An AmeriCorps stipend and education awards are offered.

Join Reading Corps as a Reading Tutor and you’ll spend your days at a local school helping students improve their skills. We’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!
How does it work? Every school day you’ll see pairs of students for 20 minutes of reading practice. When your time together is up, you’ll help your students return to your classroom(s) and pick up your next pair for tutoring. You’ll repeat until all your students are served.
With the extra attention and support, incredible growth happens. As your students build their skills and confidence, you’ll be there to encourage, celebrate, and cheer them on!
