Job summary

Ampact, an organization dedicated to improving student literacy, is seeking Reading Tutors for the 2026-27 school year in Waverly, Minnesota. As a Reading Tutor, you will lead sessions at local schools, helping students enhance their reading skills. This is a full-time role (35 hours/week) with daytime hours from Monday to Friday, offering part-time positions as well. Candidates must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma and must pass a background check. Training and support will be provided throughout your service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions and track student progress.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
