Job summary

Ampact is seeking a Reading Tutor in Excelsior, Minnesota for the 2026-27 school year. In this role, you'll assist students in improving their reading skills during school hours. Responsibilities include leading tutoring sessions, tracking student progress, and conducting assessments. Candidates must be 18+ with a high school diploma, dependable, and proficient in English. Part-time positions are available at 25 hours per week, along with full-time roles at 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Able to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions following the schedule.
• Track student progress and meet with the school’s coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in software.
