Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience in classroom settings.
• Experience with Project Read, Wilson, and/or Orton-Gillingham preferred.
• Experience in administering and interpreting educational assessments.
• Knowledge of Common Core State Standards.

Responsibilities

• Organizing multisensory structured language instruction.
• Direct service for whole group, small group, and individual instruction.
• Administering and interpreting educational assessments.
• Implement reading interventions and strategies.
• Co-plan with classroom teachers.
• Organize and disseminate ELA resources to staff.
• Collect and analyze data for meetings (e.g., DIBELS).
• Lead literacy discussions and curriculum meetings.
• Assist in analyzing literacy strengths/weaknesses and plan improvements.
• Create a collaborative learning environment to boost reading achievement.
