Responsibilities

• Attends Title I site specialist meetings and submits required state and federal compliance documents.
• Attends reading specialist meetings and collaborates with other reading specialists and administration to update literacy practices and plan interventions.
• Administers developmental testing and other assessments to determine student progress and develop learning plans.
• Communicates student progress to parents/guardians and supports home-school connections.
• Differentiates instruction to address individual student needs and monitors progress through data discussions.
• Directs instructional assistants to support the reading program and student learning.
