Job summary

Achievement House Cyber Charter School is seeking a passionate Reading Specialist to champion literacy advancement across our school community in Exton, PA. This role uses the Science of Reading to provide expert reading supports and instructional guidance to educators.

The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree in Education, will analyze literacy data, and collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families to develop targeted intervention plans and schoolwide literacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
• Experience with literacy instruction and data-driven planning is preferred.
• Strong communication with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyze literacy assessment data to identify student needs and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, counselors, and intervention teams to implement literacy plans.
• Provide targeted literacy interventions and monitor effectiveness.
• Support MTSS framework and contribute to schoolwide literacy initiatives.
• Engage families with strategies to support reading development at home.
