Job summary

Renaissance Charter at Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida is seeking a Reading Intervention Teacher to support student growth through small-group and one-on-one instruction. You will assess current performance, provide targeted instruction, and track progress with data under the Intervention Coordinator.

You will also write lesson plans, maintain records, supervise students outside class, and participate in staff meetings and trainings as required, ensuring fidelity to district and CSUSA

Qualifications

• College credit hours in Education or a valid teaching certificate.
• Experience working with children, preferably with disabilities.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Commitment to CSUSA values and policies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local K-12 requirements.
• Familiarity with SIS and basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess current student performance in small groups and one-on-one.
• Provide targeted instruction tailored to each student.
• Write lesson plans and analyze data under the Intervention Coordinator.
• Maintain detailed session records and review data.
• Supervise students during field trips and activities outside class.
• Collaborate with staff and attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Follow directives from head teacher or supervisor.
