Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company serving students from kindergarten to grade 12. We hire only the BEST - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay higher wages than the industry average.

As a tutor, you will provide academic support aligned with state curricula, create supplemental assignments, and tailor instruction to each student's needs while communicating progress to parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid NY State teaching certificate or the equivalent.
• Current student teacher; pursuing a teaching certificate.
• 2+ years experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school.
• Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College.
• Master's/PhD student with teaching assistant experience at an accredited U.S. University or College.

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a valid NY State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher; pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have 2 or more years experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school.
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
