Job summary

Medecho LTD is seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor in Trauma & Orthopaedics to join an NHS Trust on a locum basis with an immediate start.

The role requires GMC registration, NHS trauma experience, and strong clinical and communication skills; you will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with on-site duties and a flexible rota.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Previous NHS experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and management of trauma and orthopaedic patients.
• Participation in fracture clinics and outpatient services.
• Ward rounds and inpatient management.
• Management of acute orthopaedic admissions.
• Pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Assisting in trauma and elective theatre sessions.
• Liaising with consultants, nursing staff, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Participation in on-call rotas where required.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
