Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Joiner Technician at the Lincoln branch, covering the Midlands. You will manage your own schedule while tackling on-site joinery tasks for domestic and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix joinery on domestic and commercial jobs.
• Replace decayed joists and flooring; renew skirting boards.
• Preservation works on site: strip and replace timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Support damp proofing and removal of wall coatings including plaster, woodworm treatments, wall tie installation and cavity drain membrane installation.
• Carrying out timber treatments such as woodworm, sprays & fungal decay work.
• Offer valuable advice to customers and provide a high level of service.
• Adhere to all risk assessments and health & safety measures on-site.
• Ensure sites are left clean and tidy.
• Complete other required tasks within the branch as required.

The Joiner Technician Role

As a Joiner Technician, you will play a key part in delivering work for our customers on both domestic and commercial jobs. Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out first and second fix joinery, focusing on replacing decayed joists and flooring, renewing skirting boards and other general timber repairs

Implementing preservation works on site, which could include stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows

Supporting with damp proofing and removing of wall coatings including plaster, woodworm treatments, wall tie installation and cavity drain membrane installation

Carrying out timber treatments such as woodworm, sprays & fungal decay work

Offering valuable advice to customers and providing a high level of service

Adhering to all risk assessments and health & safety measures on-site

Ensuring any sites are left clean and tidy

Completing other required tasks within the branch as required
