Job summary

East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a Band 4 Assistant Financial Accountant to join the Finance Team on a 2 year fixed term contract/secondment basis, to support the Treasury Management function. This role involves updating the cashbook daily and assisting with control account reconciliations and VAT returns.

You will also assist with the administration of the Trust’s salary sacrifice schemes, contributing to robust financial controls and timely reporting within a NHS finance

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury management and cashflow control.
• Ability to assist with VAT returns and reconciliations.
• Experience with salary sacrifice schemes is desirable.

The opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Assistant Financial Accountant to join the Finance Team of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust on a 2 year fixed term contract/secondment basis. This is to support the Treasury Management function within the Trust.

To support the Treasury Manager in delivering all aspects of the Treasury function, which includes updating the cashbook daily, assisting with control account reconciliations and VAT return.
