Sherwin-Williams is seeking a production operator to support manufacturing, filling, and shipping tasks. You will assist the production team in achieving goals and objectives, with duties including operating reactors, tanks, pumps, and flow meters on a rotating COS schedule. A bonus may be earned based on performance.

Minimum qualifications include being 18+, eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and preferred one year of related machining and quality monitoring experience.

Formación

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Prefer 1 year of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
• Prefer 1 year of work experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators to ensure proper operation.
• Prefer 1 year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods.

Responsabilidades

• Operate reactors, thin tanks, bulk tanks, and other vessels.
• Operate manufacturing equipment pumps, valves, agitators, etc.
• Operate drawing and filling equipment such as scales and flow meters.
• Charging and discharging following standard Double Check Procedure.
• Monitor quality of product in manufacturing and packaging areas to include OTMIS, cycles, fill levels, package appearance, fill weights, and raw material quality.
• Communicate to supervisors any maintenance, quality, or safety issues.
• Reading and following instructions in all areas of the production floor, manufacturing, filling, etc.
• Participate in housekeeping activities that are indicative of a safe and clutter free work environment.
