Department: Technology and Product Development

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site collaboration in Los Angeles, CA)

Commitment: Part-Time (12-15 hours per week)

About LA Pet Apparel

LA Pet Apparel is a Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand committed to improving pet wellness while celebrating the bond between pets and their humans. We are creating a canine wellness app designed to provide personalized care plans, activity tracking, and other interactive features to empower dog owners.

Role Overview

As a React Web Developer, you’ll work on building the web‑based version of our canine wellness app. You’ll gain hands‑on experience developing responsive user interfaces, integrating APIs, and optimizing front‑end performance. This role offers a collaborative environment and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the development of a web‑based wellness app using React.js.

• Build responsive, mobile‑first user interfaces tailored to pet owners.

• Integrate third‑party APIs, such as Google Places, for features like pet‑friendly location recommendations.

• Optimize front‑end code for performance and usability.
