Requirements

• Possess current frontend and backend skills in both React and Node. Only candidates with this skill set will be considered for this role.
• Experience working on moderate to large web monoliths
• Have taken an application(s) through the full project life cycle process.
• Possess extensive experience utilizing the Agile delivery process for software development.
• Experience collaborating with both technical and not technical professionals to drive innovation.
• Possess an understanding of crucial applications/products in the Science, Medicine, Education business vertical.
• Automation mindset — experience identifying repetitive or scalable work and building tools, scripts, or AI-assisted workflows (e.g., agents, skills, plugins) to reduce manual effort and increase delivery velocity for yourself and your team.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using React (front end) and Node.js (back end).
• Ensuring seamless integration between client-side and server-side components to deliver responsive, scalable, and secure web applications.
• Developing user interfaces for a large web monolith and small to moderate micro-frontends and services, maintaining high standards for accessibility, performance, and usability.
• Implementing and optimizing UI components that align with enterprise design systems and technical standards.
• Lead applications through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) — from requirements gathering and system design to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure high-quality releases through continuous integration, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Identify opportunities to automate or scale recurring engineering work — building internal tools, AI-assisted agents/skills/plugins, or workflow automation — to increase quality and throughput for yourself and the broader team.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

If performed in Maryland, the base pay range is $90,900 - $151,700.If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $102,333 - $163,467.

This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
