Job summary

Teknotrain Inc. is seeking a frontend developer to build responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript. You will translate design mockups into reusable components and connect frontend apps to REST APIs.

The role emphasizes accessibility, cross‑browser compatibility, and performance, with collaboration in an agile team, code reviews, and testing using Jest or Cypress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of professional front end development experience.
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6).
• Hands-on experience with React (or Angular or Vue).
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser testing.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into pixel-accurate, reusable components.
• Integrate front end applications with REST APIs and back end services.
• Write unit and integration tests and take part in code reviews.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508) across all features.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, and help improve code quality and development practices.
• Take part in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
