Job summary

iCapital is seeking a frontend-focused Associate to join the Structured Investments & Annuities Technology team. You will build the frontend in ReactJS and work with Product Management and UX Design to implement features, fix defects, and enhance UX across the platform.

You will write tests with Jest, use React Query and Redux for state management, and participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and deployment rotations. The role emphasizes detail in design and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React
• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript state management tools (React Query, Redux, Mobx, etc.)
• 1+ years of test automation development
• Comfortable with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Able to solve problems proactively
• Excellent communication skills
• Collaborative approach to software development

Responsibilities

• Build application features and reusable UI components in React 18+.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Use modern frontend state management technologies like React Query, Redux, and hooks.
• Participate in recurring stand-up meetings, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Participate in Peer Code Reviews as part of our SDLC and Change Management process.
• Participate in support and deployment rotations.
