Job summary

Spectraforce is seeking an experienced React UI Developer for a 3-month project in Seattle, WA, with Monday-Thursday on-site and Friday remote. You will design, build, and maintain scalable user interfaces for modern web applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

Strong React expertise and UI/UX sensibilities are essential, with Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in front-end or UI development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience with modern React features: Hooks, Context, functional components.
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability and consistency.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into clean, efficient code.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Lead front-end architecture decisions and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Ensure best practices in state management, component design, and performance optimization.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure UI reliability and quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
