Cloud Analytics Technologies, LLC seeks a Java Full Stack Developer in Richmond, VA for an 8-month contract. The role requires designing, architecting, and coding modules, and leading 3–5 senior React developers.

You will ensure a strong API/microservices architecture, secure coding practices, and ownership of product delivery. Nice-to-haves include serverless, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and AI integration.

• 2. The lead should be able to design, architect, and code modules.
• 3. The lead should have experience leading 3–5 senior React developers.
• 4. Excellent communication skills are essential. The candidate should be comfortable speaking up and constructively pushing back on unrealistic expectations.
• 5. The candidate should be collaborative, pragmatic, and low ego.
• 6. It would be helpful to see examples of websites or applications the candidate has built or significantly contributed to.
• 7. The candidate should be able to discuss process improvements and team growth they have led over the years.
• 8. A strong understanding of APIs and microservices architecture is required.
• 9. The candidate should have a security-focused mindset, including clean coding practices, encryption, obfuscation, and related secure-development principles.
• 10. The lead should demonstrate strong ownership of both the product and its delivery.

Nice to have

• 1. Full-stack experience, particularly with serverless and microservices architectures.
• 2. Azure experience is preferred; AWS or GCP experience would also be valuable.
• 3. Experience with payments, security, and rapid prototyping.
• 4. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, including linting and quality-check stages.
• 5. Experience integrating AI capabilities is a plus.
