Job summary

Truvant in Haslet, TX is hiring a Reach Truck Operator for a 24/7 facility supporting top brands in food, beverage and consumer goods. The role focuses on safe operation of reach trucks to retrieve and stack pallets up to high bay levels with strong emphasis on reliability and attendance.

We offer weekend premium differential of $1.50/hour, a quarterly incentive potential, and monthly incentive opportunities, with competitive pay and stable schedules across crews A–D and Mon–Fri options.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing preferred.
• Previous experience on forklift and power equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks promptly and safely, ensuring all steps are completed before releasing the truck.
• Report damages or forklift issues to the team lead immediately.
• Move production supplies using forklift or other equipment to keep production flowing.
• Maintain accurate inventory and conduct location audits.
• Keep materials organized in production and warehouse areas.

• Crew B Sun-Tues 6:00PM-6:15AM; Wed 6:00PM-12:15AM
• Crew D Wed 12:00AM-6:15AM; Thurs-Sat 6:00PM-6:15AM

Position Objective

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be operating a reach truck to efficiently retrieve, stack, and move pallets, specifically targeting high-bay racking systems up to the 6th level (approx. 9–11 meters / 30–35 feet).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly and in a timely manner and make sure all steps are completed before releasing the truck
• Report any damages or defaults with the forklift immediately to your team lead.
• Move production supplies to and from the storage areas, using the task sheets, with a forklift, hand jack, or what means necessary to keep the production flowing.
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Conduct location audits randomly and cycle counts
• Organize materials in the production area along with the warehouse areas keeping them neat and clean
• Identify potential problems or issues that arise
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Training & Experience

• Previous experience on in warehousing preferred.
• Previous experience on forklift and power equipment preferred.

• Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures

• Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job

• Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense

Physical And Environmental Requirements

• Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
• Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push
• Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
• Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
• Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 40 pounds
