Job summary

Vistar in Arlington, TX is seeking a 2nd Shift Reach Truck – Forklift Operator to support our distribution operations. You will operate material handling equipment, including reach trucks and pallet jacks, to move freight and replenish stock across multi-level racks in temperature-controlled areas.

We require 1+ year warehouse experience with a stand-up reach truck, plus the ability to work scheduled times and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience with a stand-up reach truck.
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location; able to work in multiple temperatures.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper storage slots and place pallets using forklift or hand stack.
• Count incoming freight and transfer to freezer using forklift or pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock per work orders.
• Rotate stock to front of rack and remove outdated inventory.
• Move over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Inspect pallets, perform safety checks, and complete equipment inspection.
