Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Reach Lift Operator to safely operate a Reach Lift in a warehouse environment. The role involves moving, stacking, and retrieving materials with precision, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will lead daily operations in the assigned area, train new and returning associates, and identify bottlenecks to improve productivity and reduce costs. This position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ months of forklift experience on similar equipment.
• Safety Classroom Training and Harry & David Certification Power Equipment.
• Ability to stand for an extended amount of time.
• Lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Lift to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
• Put-away, transfer, retrieve, pick and deliver materials in storage.
• Coordinate and manage daily operations of the assigned area, ensuring policy compliance.
• Serve as the lead, assist with supervising the flow of the work and process.
• Provide training for new and returning associates on ticket processing and related tasks.
