Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services is hiring a HAA Pilot for a full-time role. The position focuses on medical air transport, safety, and collaboration with medical experts to move patients between locations and facilities.

Required certs include rotorcraft FAA commercial, helicopter instrument rating, and Class II medical. Applicants must meet stringent hour requirements and be able to operate under REACH and FAR guidelines with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours and 2,000 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours; 100 cumulative instrument hours.
• Weight limit of 230 pounds with flight gear; EC135/H135 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with a team of medical experts to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FAR/REACH requirements, and cleanliness.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information following REACH change board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Pay range potential $141,599–$155,762 and bonus eligible.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to REACH Air Medical Services' customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
