Job summary

Talent4Health is seeking a local contract RDN in Savannah, GA. The Registered Dietitian will provide comprehensive nutrition care, develop nutrition plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a clinical setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition, active CDR registration, and 1+ year of hospital or facility experience with Medical Nutrition Therapy and enteral/parenteral nutrition support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Current state licensure or certification, if required by the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy and individualized nutrition care planning.
• Experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition support.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments.
• Identify nutrition goals and develop appropriate interventions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
• Develop and monitor enteral and parenteral nutrition support regimens in collaboration with pharmacy and medical staff.
• Evaluate potential food-drug and herb-supplement interactions.
• Consider religious, cultural, and ethnic factors when developing nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with Speech Therapy regarding diet progression and transitional feeding.
