Job summary

Texas Dental and Braces in South Austin is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a collaborative team. The role offers a pay range of $50–$60 per hour with options for full-time or part-time employment, plus a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

You’ll provide cleanings, exams, and preventive care, using digital records and modern tools to educate patients and support treatment planning. A strong patient-first approach and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RDH license
• Current BLS certification
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
• Solid knowledge of infection control and patient safety
• Comfort with dental software and digital records
• Warm, patient-first approach and strong communication skills
• Team player who takes pride in their work

Responsibilities

• Provide cleanings, scaling and root planing, polishing, and perio maintenance
• Complete oral health assessments and perio charting
• Catch early signs of decay, gum disease, and other concerns
• Take X-rays, intraoral photos, and iTero scans
• Apply fluoride and sealants
• Coach patients on home care in a way that’s personal, not scripted
• Partner with the dentist on exams and treatment planning
• Keep clear digital records and follow infection control protocols
