Job summary

Cavanaugh Dental in Lansing, MI is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for a full-time, four-day workweek with Fridays off.

You’ll join a friendly team with a hygiene assistant, an established patient base, and a strong focus on education, prevention, and quality care. The role features about eight patients per day, morning huddles, and close collaboration with two dentists; active MI RDH license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Local anesthetic certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Strong understanding of periodontal health, preventive dentistry, and the connection between oral and overall health.
• Comfortable with digital charting and dental practice management software.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a busy dental environment.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and embrace new techniques and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 8 patients per day.
• Daily morning team huddle at 7:45 AM.
• Comprehensive preventive and periodontal care.
• Patient education focused on oral and overall health.
• Collaboration with dentists and clinical team members to support excellent patient outcomes.
