A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Auburn, NY, is hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to deliver preventative and therapeutic care in a modern clinic. The role operates a 4-day workweek with 45-minute hygiene appointments and a Monday–Thursday schedule.

You will work with Dentrix/MEDENT to manage records, coordinate with dentists and staff, and uphold OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards. The position offers benefits and a starting salary of $40,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RDH license in NY.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care.
• Strong organizational and meticulous recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive oral hygiene treatments, including prophylaxes and sealants.
• Conduct oral screenings, periodontal probing, and intraoral assessments; capture X-rays and document findings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
• Manage a structured patient load with 45-minute appointments; ensure punctual care.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control per OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and staff using Dentrix/MEDENT to manage records and scheduling.
