Job summary

International Paper in Dothan, AL is seeking an hourly full-time production associate to support corrugated manufacturing lines. You will assist operators, monitor machines, and help with feeding, stacking, and setups across rotary and die-cutting equipment.

The role requires standing, lifting, and exposure to hot/cold environments. Prior experience in manufacturing and ability to interpret procedures will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to learn and understand machine line up.
• Ability to understand/learn all operations of corrugated manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Makes ready, assists operator and assistant operator in maintaining corrugated manufacturing press machine (rotary and Bobst die cutters, Flexo folder gluers, labeler and folder gluers).
• Observes and monitors machine operations to aid in detecting malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
• Feeding, catching and stacking corrugated sheets at machine feed and stacking stations.
• Assisting machine crew in order setups including setting heads, mounting of print plates and dies, maintaining safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
• Ensures all orders are completed to specifications including any special instructions.
• Other duties as assigned by managers and/or supervisors/shift leader which may include parts and hand assembly.
• Always comply with all IPS Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols.
