Community Dental Partners in Texas seeks a Registered Dental Assistant to support the Dentist during treatments, exams and patient discussions. The role entails performing general RDA duties in collaboration with the team, with a focus on quality customer service and professional relationships.

The position emphasizes a positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic dental practice, with compensation around $17/hour based on experience and local market norms.

Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing (preferred)
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring and coronal polishing certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience)
• Digital x-ray and digital charting experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
• Capture quality x-ray images
• Assist dentist with a variety of treatment procedures
• Setting up and sterilizing exam and treatment rooms
• Discussing treatment options, importance and follow up recommended care
• Providing teeth polishing and sealant placement procedure (with required certifications)
• Supporting with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requested
• Sterilizing instruments and following cross contamination standards
• Creating positive and uplifting patient environments by patient engagement before, during and after visits
• Guiding parents and patients through post‑care instructions
• Assisting patients with company‑provided prizes and dismissal
• Understanding and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
