Job summary

Snohomish Modern Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist in delivering high-quality care in a busy practice. You will assist with patient preparation, imaging, and post-treatment instructions, while maintaining a compliant, sterile environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications/licensure as mandated by state.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment for each patient.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Under dentist direction, take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with state, federal regulations and HR policies.
