Job summary

PDS Health in Oak Ridge, Tennessee is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists with patient care, radiographs, and chair-side assistance. You will help educate patients and maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state certifications/licensure required.
• Certifications/licensure/registrations as mandated by the state.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment.
• Perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors for efficient care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA and other regulations.
• Educate patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful clinical environment.
