Allied OMS is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join Hill & Ioppolo Oral & Dental Implant Surgery in Lubbock, TX. You will support surgeons, handle front desk tasks, and help ensure a smooth surgical workflow with patient comfort in mind.

The role requires an RDA license, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of dental or oral surgery experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; DAANCE certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of dental or oral surgery experience (including front desk and assisting).
• Proficiency in dental software is highly preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, schedule appointments, manage calendar.
• Verify insurance coverage, collect co-pays, and explain treatment plans or financial responsibilities when needed.
• Take digital X-rays and CBCT scans as directed by the surgeon.
• Provide chairside assistance during surgical procedures, including suctioning and instrument transfer.
• Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA and infection control standards meticulously.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management software.
