Job summary

Tennova Healthcare- North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technician - Certified to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will assist physicians, operate specialized equipment, and maintain sterile technique to ensure patient safety and quality care.

You will record data, document results, and communicate with the care team while upholding policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of cardiovascular or invasive procedure experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Operate advanced cardiovascular equipment safely and monitor patient status during procedures.
• Record, calculate, and verify data for physician review to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain detailed procedural documentation in line with department standards.
• Support patient preparation, positioning, monitoring, and comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure workflow, equipment readiness, and effective communication.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance.
