Job summary

Meade, a full-service design firm, seeks a Senior ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer (Low Voltage) in the United States. You will design data center cabling, pathways, and telecom rooms, focusing on fiber/copper backbones, rack elevations, conduits, and construction drawings in Revit.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in ICT/structured cabling design or network infrastructure design.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification required; not software/IT networking.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including structured cabling and pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, logical network layouts, and physical infrastructure design.
• Prepare equipment schedules and specifications; design SEF infrastructure.
• Develop data center layouts, rack plans, and cable management strategies.
• Prepare construction documentation for fit-outs, upgrades, and new builds; coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Produce BIM-coordinated ICT models using Revit/AutoCAD; create design reports and BOMs.
• Coordinate with project team, contractors, and vendors; respond to RFIs and review submittals.
