Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Offutt AFB, NE seeks a Network Systems Engineer to support RC-135 mission aircraft and ground systems. You will configure and maintain complex networks, manage routing, firewalls, and system services across Windows and Linux environments.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree or substantial equivalent experience, and must pursue DoD security clearances as required. Deployment and mission-driven shifts are possible with security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in networking operations and sustainment.
• Graduate degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks across multiple vendor devices.
• Manage TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, and firewall administration.
• Administer NGFWs to secure enterprise traffic.
• Operate networks in Linux/Windows with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and LDAP.
• Implement and support defensive measures and secure configurations.
• Configure Type 1 encryption devices and related solutions.
• Provide weekly network status updates and maintain diagrams for USAF.
• Support RC-135 operational sorties and GDPS with CSA help.
• Collaborate with local and remote systems engineering teams.
