Job summary

Paso Robles Joint Unified School District is seeking a Paraeducator - Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups of students with special needs.

Under the direction of the Special Education Director, site administrator, and BCBA, you will reinforce IEP goals, prepare instructional materials, and help implement behavior interventions; part-time, 6 hours per day, 193 days across 10 months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years experience with special education students.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of Special Education students.
• Prepare instructional materials and support IEP implementation.
• Provide routine clerical support and help train others in behavior strategies.
• Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision.
