Job summary

Solomon Page in New York, NY is seeking a Freelance Raw Materials Manager for a top fashion company. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite at the New York office and 2 days remote per week.

You will support the RM Director, review fabric submissions, manage digital PLM/Centric systems, and collaborate with sourcing to deliver proto and salesman samples while ensuring fabric quality, finish, and color before bulk orders.

Qualifications

• Experience with raw materials sourcing or development.
• Must have fabric or textile background experience.
• Technical experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Textiles, Design, or related field strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required.
• Basic technical understanding of textiles required.
• Centric PLM preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Deadline-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accuracy.

• Hourly pay rate up to $46.00 based on experience.
